PRODUCT DETAILS

A shorter hemline that will take you through the seasons in style. Meet the Kira Short Dress, crafted from a silky ECOVERO™ blend. The soft drape of the fibre is complimented by dropped shoulders and wide sleeves that fall to elbow length. Wear it loose as a relaxed shift, or cinch the waist with the self-fabric tie belt for a more defined silhouette. The versatile, relaxed fit makes it perfect for layering. Showcasing the vivid Tessela Print—a geometric masterpiece in stained-glass hues—it’s your transseasonal wardrobe hero.

  • This style is in the ELK Conscious Edit
  • The limited Tessela Print is designed to pair easily with classic colours, and an array of vivid hues alike.
  • Self-tie belt allows for versatility of styling to suit your mood.
  • A strong transseasonal piece.
  • Silky blend contains Lenzing™ ECOVERO™, a responsibly-sourced fibre harnessing closed loop production methods.

MATERIAL

62% ECOVERO™ Viscose 38% Viscose Rayon

This smooth, floaty fabric has a matte sheen that gives it the perfect versatility to dress up or down. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. According to Worldly's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to conventional viscose.

Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our viscose fibres from producers that have a green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.

MAKER

Manufacturer: Jimmy Fashions (Zhejiang, China)

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
